    Red face Answered: List and fullscreen false

    Answered: List and fullscreen false

    Hi to everyone.
    I've got a problem with List widget.
    I'm trying to develop a small application with Sencha Touch 1.1 for a
    desktop environment that uses a touchscreen monitor and I want to create a not complex
    layout .

    I began creating of a List that has static dimensions and I declared it in this way:

    Code:
    var list = new Ext.List({
                border: '3 3 3 3',
                height : 300,
                width : 400,
                centered: true,

                fullscreen : false, //<--- this is my TARGET

                itemTpl :  '{company} - {price}',
                store : store,
                listeners: {
                    itemtap : {
                        fn : function(){
                            console.log('Hello World')
                        }
                    },
                }
            });

    list.show();
    The list appears to be valid and works fine, but I can't set it in fullscreen FALSE, because it don't renders.
    So i tried to use list methods after setting fullscreen to true

    Code:
    list.setWidth(300);
    list.setHeight(400);
    This way permits to set list's dimension, but on window resize the List return to body size.
    Can you help me ?

    Sorry fo my bad English

    What do you want to happen? If you set fullscreen to true then the size will be 100% of the height and width of the screen. If it's not in a layout then you need to set the height and width.

    Ok Mitchell.
    I'm studing the Sencha Layout System and maybe I understood it.
    Now my question is:
    Is Sencha Touch a reccomended tool for developing a web-application for desktop environment too?
    Testing a few lines of code I observed that Sencha Touch works just on webkit (Chrome & Safari) and I'm afraid to find incompatibility for some framework's functionality in a "standard pc browser".
    What do you think about this?
