Looks like we can't reproduce the issue or there's a problem in the test case provided.

    Default [4.1 B1] Not jumping to proper scroll position in combo w/ editable = false

    [4.1 B1] Not jumping to proper scroll position in combo w/ editable = false

    When "editable" is false on a combo box, I am unable to utilize the standard select control feature of jumping to the first entry with a matching character.

    Here is a sample, try typing b or c to jump down and it does not work:

    Code:
    <html>
    <head>
        <title>Combo test</title>
        <link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="extjs/resources/css/ext-all-gray.css">
        <script type="text/javascript" src="extjs/ext.js"></script>
        <script type="text/javascript" >

            Ext.onReady(function() {
                var parent = Ext.create('Ext.panel.Panel', {
                    title: 'Parent',
                    width: 1000,
                    height: 800,
                    items: [
                        Ext.create('Ext.form.field.ComboBox',{
                            width: 234,
                            valueField: 'companyName',
                            displayField: 'companyName',
                            editable: false,
                            queryMode: 'local',
                            listConfig: {
                                maxHeight: 200
                            },
                            store: Ext.create('Ext.data.ArrayStore',{
                                fields: [
                                    { name: 'companyName', type: 'string' }
                                ],
                                data: [
                                    ['a'],['a'],['a'],['a'],['a'],['a'],['a'],['a'],['a'],['a'],['a'],['a'],
                                    ['b'],['b'],['b'],['b'],['b'],['b'],['b'],['b'],['b'],['b'],['b'],['b'],
                                    ['c'],['c'],['c'],['c'],['c'],['c'],['c'],['c'],['c'],['c'],['c'],['c']
                                ]
                            })
                        })
                    ],
                    renderTo: Ext.getBody()
                });
                parent.show();
            });

        </script>
    </head>
    <body>
    </body>
    </html>

    According to the docs, editable does:

    False to prevent the user from typing text directly into the field; the field can only have its value set via selecting a value from the picker. In this state, the picker can also be opened by clicking directly on the input field itself.
    The filtering ("jumping") of the list won't happen because you can't type anything into the field.

    Well normal select boxes have this feature, even though you aren't typing anything into the field.
