I am using Jetbrains WebStorm 3. In my opinion the best thing to work with Sencha Touch for now.

right, but for me it's worth the pain i save, compared to the usage of something like aptana or eclipse But to be honest, luckily i didn't pay anything for it, because i'm using it only for an academic project at my university. To my initiative my professor requested an free academic license from JetBrains, which me and some colleages can use now

However, at the moment they also have a special pricing at JetBrains, so that you pay less than 50$ or € which is not that much compared to other commercial IDEs like dreamweaver or whatever. In general i like the jetbrains products and can imagine to buy them later for commercial purposes.

you are writing about a java framework?! Are you aware of the fact, that Sencha Touch is a javaSCRIPT framework. That's something completely different from java. You don't have to add the framework to the IDE. just keep in the project folder and mark the folder als "resources folder".

Hola Diego, puedes utilizar una libreria que existe que se llama GWT4Touch, la cual es el API de Sencha Touch 2, pero en Java. Justamente estamos a un punto de sacar el beta la proxima semana, con una licencia comercial, asi que lo podras utilizar en tu proyecto. Ya que es Java, el IDE puede ser Eclipse (o NetBeans o IntelliJ o STS) si es que asi lo deseas. Buscanos en www.emitrom.com y si tienes preguntas ponlas en nuestro foro para poder ayudarte. Suerte!
