no animation when new card is loading

hi,
I am totally new to Sencha and trying to create a simple application using Sencha touch 2.0. I have to create 4 different pages. (Splash, Login, About and User). I creatd simple card layout for these pages but a new page is showing without any slide animation. What I am missing in code.

You need to add the animation to the layout...

layout : {
    type : 'card',
    animation : {
        type : 'slide'
    }
}
