Success! Looks like we've fixed this one. According to our records the fix was applied for TOUCH-1834 in a recent build.

Default Beta 1 - SegmentedButton's initialize does not invoke initialize on its parent

Beta 1 - SegmentedButton's initialize does not invoke initialize on its parent

The title says it all, SegmentedButton's initialize method does not invoke this.callParent(arguments)

Good call. But as far as I can tell, it doesn't matter as none of its parent classes use the method.

Hi rdougan, please see this comment from Touch team itself:

It's not about parent classes using it, rather if someone extends the parent class to provide additional functionality (like I have done), the same fails to work correctly for SegmentedButton.

Of course, and it has been fixed for the next release. I was just mentioning that it will not effect your application.

In fact, it does and that is why I reported it. I had sequenced initialize method on Component to provide custom services to all Components and the same was not working for SegmentedButton after upgrading to Beta1.
