Can I create Sencha Designer Project using some kind of API?

We would like to use Sencha Designer tool to allow users to modify screens. Is this possible to create a new Sencha Designer Project on the fly using some kind of API?

Not at the moment, but this is on our radar for future (as in 2.x) updates.

What other features would you like to be exposed as API calls?

Thanks for answering. I posted related question why we could not updated a button label for the form created via Sencha Designer outside of Sencha Designer. If this is how it works by design, we would need APIs that allow to update metadata. But I really hope that this is just a bug.

We also would hugely benefit from allowing Designer to edit Templates. This is not an API, just another important function.

API requests? I've read in some other threads that there are big plans/hopes/dreams for the export/deploy functionality of Designer. Once that is done it would be great to have any of that work be exposed through a command line api (tied in to sdk tools?) so that it can be part of an automated process, e.g. ant build scripts.
