    Exclamation Map not render until insert into fit layout. (And look bad after)

    Map not render until insert into fit layout. (And look bad after)

    REQUIRED INFORMATION

    Ext version tested:
    • Sencha Touch 2 b2
    Browser versions tested against:
    • Android 2.3.4
    Description:
    • The map not render.
    Steps to reproduce the problem:

    (EDITED FOR MORE SIMPLE CASE)
    • Create a view, with the follow items
    • Toolbar
    • Ext.Map
    The result that was expected:
    • View map rendered.
    The result that occurs instead:
    • The map is not rendered
    Test Case:

    Code:

    Ext.Loader.setConfig({
        enabled: true,
        paths: {
            Mark: 'app'
        }
    });

    Ext.application({
        name: 'Mark',
        views: ['TestMap'],
        launch: function () {
            Ext.create('Mark.view.TestMap')
        }
    });

    Code:
    Ext.define('Mark.view.TestMap', {
        extend: 'Ext.Panel',
        config: {
            fullscreen: 'true',
            items: [
                {
                    xtype: 'toolbar',
                    docked: 'top',
                    title: 'Example',
                },
                {
    // YOU MUST UNCOMMENT THIS FOR TESTING THE ¿BUG?
    //                xtype: 'panel',
    //                layout: { type: 'fit'},
    //                items: [
    //                    {
                        xtype: 'map',
                        useCurrentLocation: true
    //                    }
    //                ]
                }
            ],
        },
    });

    HELPFUL INFORMATION

    Possible fix:
    • Add the map component under a panel with layout FIT, the map is rendered but the [+][-] zoom buttons have the half out screen (in the border display). Its is like if the height is more big that the screen size. (See attached for details)

    Do you have a full test case, I cannot reproduce what you are describing.

    A Map by itself wouldn't be able to have sizing as is required to be in a container which can give it size. Some containers such as Tabs and Cards do this by default, but in this case you would need to give it's containing panel some type of size. Either explicitly (height/width) or implicitly as you have by giving it a fit layout.

    Hmm, in you browser settings, what are the zoom settings on the device? Also, who is the manufacturer of the device (HTC Sense, etc. can interfere with things sometimes). In the next release, we're previnging zoom once again which could possibly the culprit. I can't think of anything else that might affect that. We pretty much hand all the rendering off to gmaps when it comes to the display.

    The toolbar are pulling down the map, with 'fit' layout, the map is sized to fullscreen (total screen size), but the toolbat are pulling down the map box, and the controls is cutted, like my image.

    At end. The problem is that the map are getting the screen size. And must be only the parent panel size.

    I'm not sure, but the following works fine for me on Android, iOS, etc. I've cleaned up some of the overnesting.

    Code:
        Ext.Loader.setConfig({
            enabled:true
        });

        Ext.define('Mark.view.TestMap', {
            extend:'Ext.Panel',
            config:{
                fullscreen:'true',
                layout:'fit',
                items:[{
                    xtype:'toolbar',
                    docked:'top',
                    title:'Example'
                }, {
                    xtype:'map'
                }]
            }
        });

        Ext.application({
            name:'TEST',
            launch:function () {
                Ext.create('Mark.view.TestMap');
            }
        });

    Because on my Application, im using the Map into one card, when use fullscreen property i get a blank screen (But no JS errors).

    Then if i remove it, i get the same issue of map controls cutteds.
    When i remove the toolbar, the map is perfectly rendered.

    Code:

    Ext.define('Mark.view.MapPanel', {
        extend: 'Ext.Panel',
        id: 'mapPanel',
        config:{
            layout:'fit',
            items:[{
                xtype:'toolbar',
                docked:'top',
                title:'Example'
            }, {
                xtype:'map'
            }]
        }
    })
    PD: This view is child of card viewport.

    Arf, Jamie Avins, i am crazy, testing this, and trying different fixes, without success...
    This is my full and simple code, 1 viewport card, 2 views. (On the last are the map)

    The map render, but the zoom controls are cut at screen bottom. (Like the first image)
    If you can help me, i appreciate a lot.

    Thanks.

    Code:
    Ext.define('Mark.view.Viewport', {
        extend: 'Ext.Panel',
        requires: [
            'Mark.view.StartPanel',
            'Mark.view.MapPanel'
        ],

        id: 'viewport',
        config: {
    	    fullscreen: 'true',
        	layout: {
    	    	type: 'card',
    	        animation: {
    	            type: 'slide',
    	            direction: 'left',
    	            duration: 500
    	        }
    	    },
    	    items: [
                Ext.create('Mark.view.StartPanel'),
                Ext.create('Mark.view.MapPanel')
    	    ],
        },
    });

    Code:
    Ext.define('Mark.view.StartPanel', {    extend: 'Ext.Panel',
    	id: 'startPanel',
        config: {
            items: [
                {
                    xtype: 'toolbar',

                },
                {
                	xtype: 'button',

                },
            ],
        },
    })
