    Default Answered: TreePanel node tooltip?

    Answered: TreePanel node tooltip?

    I have this class for a menu/navigation function that extends Ext.tree.Panel. The items on the menu are the tree nodes and I am having a hard time to have each menu item's tooltip to appear.

    I have set up an itemmouseenter listener but I'm not really sure if I'm doing it right. Here's the snippet:
    Code:
    itemmouseenter: function(view, rec, item, index, e, eOpts){
            view.tip = Ext.create('Ext.tip.Tooltip', {
                target: view.el,
                delegate: view.itemSelector,
                trackMouse: true,
                renderTo: Ext.getBody(),
                listeners: {
                    beforeshow: function updateTipBody(tip) {
                        tip.update('Over"' + view.getRecord(tip.triggerElement).get('name') + '"');
                    }
                }
            });
        },

  2. Have you tried setting the qtip property on the node?

    Default qtip property for each node of the treepanel

    qtip property for each node of the treepanel

    Please help with an example of how to set the qtip property of each node in the treepanel. I need to set the tooltip on mouseover of each node. Thanks in advance.
