Having a TextBox used inside a TabPanel, which has an error looks correct:

1.jpg

switching to another tab:

2.jpg

and going back to the first tab (with the error marked field) looks like that:

3.jpg

The TextBox get's it's old length. Try to call forceLayout(), but this did not solve the issue.
