    ... enabled and disabled tabs.

    It makes no difference, if a tab is enabled or not in a TabPanel with BottomAppearence, they look always as they are enabled.

    ...it looks like that it is not possible use the setEnable method to change enable state after a TabItemConfig is added to a TabPanel.

    Have you called the TabPanel.update method after changing the TabItemConfig?
