Answered: Hide NavigationView's back button on Android?

Using a NavigationView gives you the typical iOS behavior. This is nice. Is there a way to automatically hide the back button on Android and use Android's hardware/virtual back button instead?

  2. Do you have routes and history working for the navigation view?

No. I don't even know about that. I haven't looked into the Application object yet. Would that help with the Android back key? All I'm doing is using a Ext.navigation.View where I use the push() method to add more panels. This works as expected on iOS, but would result into a foreign UI with respect to Android. Furthermore, if I press back there, the app exists (because it's a single page in the browser). I'd have expected Sencha Touch to deal with this kind of cross plattform issues.

Then you won't be able to use the physical back button to control navigation view
