Inspired by the work of VinylFox (http://www.vinylfox.com/plugin-set-f...ditor-buttons/) I have created some htmleditor plugins for Extjs 4.x:
- remove html
- remove format
- char map
- word paste
You can get it from here: http://www.mzsolutions.eu/extjs/#!/api/Ext.ux.form.plugin.HtmlEditor
Update: The project is on Github now: https://github.com/ateodorescu/mzExt

I have updated the htmleditor plugins with the formatBlock addon. Now you can insert paragraphs and headlines. Check it out here: http://www.mzsolutions.eu/extjs/#!/a...gin.HtmlEditor
Maybe someday I will post all my components on Github too but I'm kinda lazy to do that now.

Thanks for your appreciation. The only documentation I have is here: http://www.mzsolutions.eu/extjs/#!/a...gin.HtmlEditor .
Let me know what kind of help you need for this component.

I have no idea how to create an architect component so I'm sorry I can't help you with that. I didn't look into this so far. You should ask this question in the Sencha Architect forums.

I took a short look into creating plugins with Sencha Architect 2 - at the moment you can only export /import architector genereted components.
However i wrote a short guide how you can modify an existing html editor genereted from architect.

Cool. I'm a big fan of vinylFox. He created a number of useful UX's for the ExtJS 3 branch.
Perhaps you can don his mantle and resume the work he started?Perfection as a goal is a nice idea that can point one in a specific direction. However, since "perfection" is an ever changing (evolving?) and moving target, one must admit that perfection can never be obtained...
When in doubt, check the d4mn source code!
