Question store performance issues with large db

store performance issues with large db

    Hi there,
I'm experiencing issues with scrolling/displaying/validating/filtering/clicking in a list, using a store with more than 500 items.
I believe the large amount of item displayed within the dataview is causing this.

Are you working on improving performances on this side, or are we stuck to using small amount of items in a store ?

I found an improved Ext.List (buffering and displaying only a small part of the store items), but only working on the version 1.1.1 of Sencha Touch.
    https://github.com/Lioarlan/UxBufList-Sench-Touch-Extension

    I
t would be very great and nice if this issue could be resolved, I'm sure I'm not the only one having these kind of lack of performances !

Why would you load 500 objects into your store at once? You should really be using paging on the store / proxy and have your backend respect the pagesize, page#, etc. I would fully expect a store with 500 records to perform very poorly. Think small, light. Just my .02

    Why not ?
I can't and won't use a paging because I need to provide directly a full list of items as a selector, with the groupbar.
That's why I suggested the solution of the Buffered List.
