    Default List Will Not Scroll To The Bottom

    List Will Not Scroll To The Bottom

    Hi

    I'm trying to create some search results and I have a multiline list that will not scroll to the bottom item (it only gets half way down the bottom item).

    This is the itemTpl

    itemTpl : '<div class="searchResultsItem">
    <div class="searchResultTitle">
    <p>{recordName}</p>
    </div>
    <div class="searchResultDetail">
    <p>{objectType} - {objectName}</p>
    <p>{field}</p>
    </div>
    <div class="searchResultText">
    <p>{beforeText}<b>{boldText}</b>{afterText}</p>
    </div>
    </div>',

    This is my entry in the scss file:

    .searchResultsItem p {
    font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', HelveticaNeue, 'Helvetica-Neue', Helvetica, 'BBAlpha Sans', sans-serif;
    }
    #SearchResultsList .x-list-item {
    min-height: 200px;
    }
    .searchResultTitle p {
    color: #0000FF;
    font-size: 1em;
    font-weight: normal;
    }
    .searchResultDetail p {
    color: #000000;
    font-size: 0.95em;
    font-weight: normal;
    }
    .searchResultText p {
    color: #000000;
    font-size: 0.90em;
    }

    As you can see I tried setting the rowHeight in the scss file to see if that helped but while it changed the row height it would still not scroll the list to the bottom entry.

    I would be grateful if anyone has any ideas please ?

    Thanks

    Chris

    Does it bounce back to the top or just stop half way?

    Hi Mitchell

    When you pull the list to the bottom around half of the last item is not visible until you drag it further when the rest of the last item becomes visible until you let go of the list and it bounces back to only showing half of the last item again.

    Thanks

    Chris

    So it's bouncing back to the top? You need to use something to manage the list's height then like fit layout or something.

    Yes I guess so - sorry I got a bit long winded with my explanation - only excuse is that I just got off a very long call with Belgium and my head is aching.

    I will try and do something with the list height.

    Thanks

    Hi

    I don't actually work on Sencha stuff any more as I have switched to a different framework so my memory is a little hazy.

    I have had a look at what I did and it looks like I set layout: 'fit' on the panel that contains the list and made the panel and the list fullscreen: true.

    I hope that helps you - sorry I can't remember better.

    Good luck!

    Chris
