When I download Sencha Designer for linux (64bit) I get a ".run" file. It doesnt appear to be an archive of any sort and there's no indication of what might happen if I made it executable and ran it. I was kind of expecting either an archive (tar/zip etc) or an rpm/deb package.
What am I supposed to do with this guy? And if I run it what's going to happen?
It's just the installer. As long as you have the right arch (32 or 64-bit) you just simply do the following: chmod +x SenchaDesigner-2.0.0.000279-x64.run ./SenchaDesigner-2.0.0.000279-x64.run
