Theme Slicer and the ext directory

I'm trying to figure out how to get the theme slicer working. First of it didn't give much feedback but thanks to google I figured out that the code doesn't like my ext directory.

I'm wondering what this is actually expecting in the ext directory or how I can figure out WHY it doesn't like my ext directory. Either way this is the first bit of my directory I hope the error isn't hidden deep.

Perhaps it's related to the recent 'compass compile' error I had when i tried giving all panels rounded corners. The compiler complains about a whole series of theme images it can't find.
panel-default-corners.gif, panel-default-sides.gif, etc they all pretty much say the same thing with their name.

I dropped the idea of rounded corners on panels so this last thing isn't such a big deal. I just pray it isn't related.
