how to integrate sencha touch 2 native app with Urban Airship Push Notifications

Hi,

Currently we have ST1 wrapped in Phonegap and using Urban Airship phonegap plugin for Push Notifications. Now we are planning on moving to ST2. How can integrate Urban Airship in ST2 native app without using phone gap. Whats the sencha blesses and recommended way of doing push notifications in ST2?

for the moment i think there will be no way to use push notifications in ST2 because for PhoneGap you also need Plugins and for ST2 it's not possible to provide plugins at the moment (as is understood)

So, can anyone from the Sencha Team help us send push notifications?

Or say when this should be supported in the future? We're building an application that uses push notifications quite a lot, and if Sencha can't provide it, unfortunately we'll have to consider another framework. And we love Sencha a lot, and really don't want to do that

Sencha Touch 2 Direction on Native Packaging is Great. However, for Sencha Touch 2 to break the barrier of typical HTML 5 based Native Application which only do work when they are launched, they should provide out of the box integration with Urban Airship. This will allow backends to notify users to launch their Sencha Touch 2 Native Application when there is interesting data.

Also the Sencha Touch Native Packager should infact provide following options
1. Build APK and IPA (APP) as it does currently
2. Build the above with optional integration of Urban AirShip
3. Generate a Source Code of iOS or Android Application with PhoneGap and Urban Airship Deeply Integrated.

I'm trying to decide between using JQuery mobile and Sencha Touch 2.

Are we saying that Sencha Touch 2 Native doesn't support push notifications?

Could I use Sencha touch 2 with Phonegap and urban airshop to support push or do I need to go down the Jquery Mobile + Phone gap route?
