Sencha Slice Tool uses "ext-all-debug.js" instead of "ext-all-dev.js".
Sencha Slice Tool uses "ext-all-debug.js" instead of "ext-all-dev.js".
Hi,
We wore wondering why the sencha slice tool uses "ext-all-debug.js" instead of "ext-all-dev.js".
They dont seem that much diffirent from each other and perhaps its posible to just use "ext-all-dev.js" instead of "ext-all-debug.js".
Is there perhaps a hidden flag from the command line tool that we can use to specify that the tool will be using "ext-all-dev.js" or perhaps "ext-all.js" instead of "ext-all-debug.js" when we use the slice tool?
Beste regards,
Richard

Is there a reason you want to use ext-all-dev.js?

Continueing on this question.
Continueing on this question.
Hi,
Well we would like our compiled development environment of our application to be as compact as posible.
Each and every file that is not needed or could be avoided to be used within the distribution is saving diskspace.
Our web application when compiled is about 200 mb so an extra library of 2 mb or 4 mb that has an almost identical equivelant will be inefficient.
Since both "ext-all-dev.js" and "ext-all-debug.js" are almost the same.. could it be possible to use just one of them? And if so wich one would be best to be used.
Best regards,
Richard
