    Default NSURLErrorDomain -999

    NSURLErrorDomain -999

    I created a very thin iOS wrapper (just renders a webview) to distribute my app as native however I'm running into an issue navigating to a page using iframe. Container.config.html =
    Code:
    <iframe src="https://myapp.com" width="100%" height="100%"></iframe>
    . The error I get is
    Code:
    (NSError *) $0 = 0x0d4f4f80 Error Domain=NSURLErrorDomain Code=-999 "The operation couldn’t be completed. (NSURLErrorDomain error -999.)" UserInfo=0xd4f5dd0 {NSErrorFailingURLKey=https://myapp.com, NSErrorFailingURLStringKey=https://myapp.com}
    . The site works fine navigating straight from the mobile Safari browser.

    -999 means it was canceled probably due to the url not being whitelisted. <iframe> on a mobile device is not recommended in an ST2 app.

    Looks like the -999 issue was due to the fact that i had a default html iframe url in the container and was updating it with a new one. One thing that may be worth investigating, or not given that iframes aren't officially supported, is that they behave differently on the iPad 1, especially when using web clips. On the iPad 2 and iPhones the title bar in the container is visible however on the iPad 1 the iframe takes over the entire screen and am not able to access the back button on my title bar. I have since just opened the iframe in a separate tab.
