Question Unanswered: Deeplink in Navigation View

    Unanswered: Deeplink in Navigation View

    Hi,
I have a Navigation View and I use routing. The routing part works fine.
    My Q:
If I link to lets say View number 5 (fx. productDetail) in the Navigation View. I would like to push 4-3-2-1 into the Navigation View (Groups/SubGroups) so that the full history works (Back button in Navigation View).
    How can I do that?

All views are using JsonP for data and pushed to the Navigation View.

I think I need to know how to Push without animation and how to Push to a special location in the array? I might be wrong here...

The history won't be guaranteed and the reason being is say you are going to your app just by typing the URL with the hash and you insert 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 views with the active one being the last, 5. If you tap the back button, there is no way to go to the 4th view because it's not part of the history.

When you say history do you mean urlor Navigation View? I will maintain the url history in the same way as Touch Style.

What do you suggest I do?

When I say history is when you press the browser's back button, it will go back one space in the history. Every time you update the hash via redirectTo in a controller it updates the hash adding to the history of the browser.

Doh! Good point, I was so focused on the Back button in the Nav View that I forgot the history back will never work.

So the conclusion is that the best behavior is to just load view 5 and the back button will take you to view 1?

It'll take you back to whatever the last url was. The only way and it may not be the best experience is to use redirectTo five times each time adding a new view to the navigation view... that would be a horrible experience I would think.
