    for multiple screens i have been using rem as a measurement in the css. It is the same as em but is relative to the root rather than its parent. then i do media queries to set the root font size which then determines the sizing of everything. takes a little while to get used to, but it works great.

    It seems that the problem is solved in the new Sencha Touch release, ST 2.2.0 !
