Extjs -> sencha touch
jQuery -> jQuery mobile
dHtmlx -> dHtmlx touch
is frustrating to think that developers have no solution but to develop two programs or two different interfaces for an application that is after all a website.
what would be the recommended practices to create a single application that runs on both desktop web and mobile web? Or just resign yourself to always create two applications?
I don't want to create an app-mobile, but i would like to see my webpage and interact with it in the same way in web desktop browser and in mobile browser.

The simple answer I guess is UI widget/interaction differences across the platforms, and possibly memory/performance constraints.
I imagine once things settle, and actually work properly it should be possible with Ext 4.1 and Touch 2 to write an application that shares much between the two platforms... I remember in the very early days of Ext 4 device capabilities and screen orientation were in the docs.
Not that I will ever target a mobile device, personally...Product Architect
