Default Charts slow and Touch Pad Support

Charts slow and Touch Pad Support

    Hey,

    I need some advice.

When using x-type 'chart' with about 50 records it takes forever to render in internet explorer. It's very fast in Firefox though but knowing our clients they will complain about IE.

Is there anything I can do to speed it up?

Another issue, how do I get around the "long running script" problem when rendering the graph in IE? Maybe something like a processing please wait message box?

Finally, any hints on making ExtJs more touch screen friendly? It renders fine on the iPad for example but moving things around just does not work.

    Thanks in advance.

What Ext JS 4 version are you using?

For the iPad, Touch Charts 2 is out in beta form and being developed. Ext JS is not supported for mobile devices like the iPad.

Everything is slower in IE, specially in version 6!

Suggest to your users Chrome, for me is the best browser now.
