    Default Tutorial Which can give me step by step guide

    Tutorial Which can give me step by step guide

    Hi All,
    I am a newbie in Sencha touch. I have done some extjs apps previously but I see the way we do in Sencha touch seems little different.
    The Citybars example is not helping me much and
    https://github.com/lojjic/Sencha-Expenses-Touch pdf is also done differently.

    I am stuck on extremely simple tasks too.
    Isn't there any proper guide from which I can pick up things.
    Up till now I think the money spent is of no use for me.
    So if there is any tutorial please do let me know.
    thanks

    We have a bunch of documentation in the works but this is all we have available for the beta thus far:
    http://docs.sencha.com/designer/2-0/#!/guide

    Do you have any specific questions of what you are stuck on?

    Hi,
    thanks for the quickest reply.

    Yes, I have seen them too.
    I think once I can get hands on basic stuffs such as opening and hiding different panels (on a log in form clicking a button which let me open another panel or redirects to navigational view and so on.).
    These are the simple things that will make me happy !!!. I think if I can grasps such things. I can advance on other things.

    thanks

    Default MVC tutorial

    MVC tutorial

    Hi

    I wish to develop a sencha2 app that will be able to switch between two or more views

    My app.js file looks like this
    Code:

    Ext.application({
        name: 'testapp',

        views: ['Viewport', 'Main', 'Newregister', 'Login'],

        // change this
        icon: {
            57: 'resources/icons/Icon.png',
            72: 'resources/icons/Icon~ipad.png',
            114: 'resources/icons/Icon@2x.png',
            144: 'resources/icons/Icon~ipad@2x.png'
        },
        //change this
        phoneStartupScreen: 'resources/loading/Homescreen.jpg',
        tabletStartupScreen: 'resources/loading/Homescreen~ipad.jpg',

        launch: function() {
            // Destroy the #appLoadingIndicator element
            Ext.fly('appLoadingIndicator').destroy();

            // Initialize the main view
            Ext.apply('testapp.view.Viewport');
           // Ext.Viewport.add(Ext.create('smsthingy.view.Viewport'));
            //Ext.Viewport.setActiveItem(
        }

    });

    I have created a viewport.js file that looks like this

    Code:
    Ext.define("testapp.view.Viewport", {    extend: 'Ext.Panel',
        requires:[
                  'testapp.view.Main',
                  'testapp.view.Login',
                  'testapp.view.Newregister',
                  'testapp.view.Newsms',
                  'testapp.view.Sentmessages',
                  'testapp.view.Settings'
                  ],

        config:{

            fullscreen: true,

            layout: 'card',

            cardAnimation: 'slide',

            style:'background-color: #e8edf3',

            html:'mmkkks'

        },
        initialize:function(){
            this.setActiveItem(0);
        },

        items: [
            {
                xtype: 'panel',
                html: 'This panel is created by xtype'
            },
            {
                xtype: 'panel',
                html: 'This panel is created by xtype 2'
            }]

    });

    How can i show the first item in the viewport.js initially when the application loads up.

    Also how do i switch to another view on the click of a button?
