Default Renaming all the items in Sencha Designer

Renaming all the items in Sencha Designer

Is it possible to rename all of the items in my project in the "inspector" window in Sencha Designer?

The only way I have been able to do this is to give each component an ID, which I've been told is bad OOP practice.

The trouble is, without giving them an ID they're all called something like MyButton4 and MyContainer26, which makes it impossible to find stuff.

There is a bug in 363 which has been fixed in our current repository that prevents this from working as expected.

The node text should pick up things like id, itemId, text, title etc.

There are a few edge cases like readers and proxies which have no way of giving them a descriptor via source code. We may introduce a designer specific configuration called description that allows you to always give a textual name to nodes without any impact on the source code.

    Hi Aaron,

A way of naming components which inserts nothing into the code would be perfect.
