It'd be great to have long-standing EXTJSIV-3034 fixed as well before GA as it's still present in the 4.1.0 RC's - http://www.sencha.com/forum/showthread.php?137963 and also discussed here http://www.sencha.com/forum/showthre...456#post774456

@mankz -- glad to hear about the forthcoming online tool for checking bug statuses.

Is there a timeline anywhere that shows when the targeted GA for 4.1 is?
I know RC3 is only a week old, but are we talking days, weeks or months?
Thanks

For the RC process we have been focused on stability and preserving the performance gains so far.Any update on the general performances issues ?
Little confused on this one. The "it" being "performance" has been part of the release from its inception. Is it planned for final realese ?
The challenge has been making everything work on all browsers and modes ... turns out that fundamental changes of this nature introduce you to a whole host of browser bugs you didn't see before because excessive rewriting of the DOM hid them from you :P That and you get to rediscover fixes to old bugs that you don't have anymore, but their fixes are now causing problems. Not complaining mind you - it's has just been exciting
Absolutely. We have several improvements that were underway but had to be shifted to 4.1.1 because we couldn't risk them this close to GA. We also have bigger endeavors that have been "off the table" for 4.1 for some time that will come back to the table as we plan 4.2.Are you guys still working on this ?
I hope we will have some forum discussion on ideas here before we get too deep... like we did early on in 4.1Don Griffin

EXT JS Suspend layouts/resume layout issue
EXT JS Suspend layouts/resume layout issue
Hi All,
I have a tab panel in the page with multiple controls in it.
I have enabled the scroll bar.
I found some issues when I use suspendlayouts/resumelayout.
1. In IE 7, the controls out side the current visible area are not rendered proprely, but if you resize UI controls appears correctly. In firefox and google chrome it works as expected.
2. In Google chrome we see a different issue - there are controls out side the UI visible region but scroll bar shows without scroll handle. We can see the controls by using the mouse scroller only.
Any one faced these issues?

I've run into this numeric ID thing - and a couple other back-breaking issues. Chrome has serious issues with 4.1 ...
I mean, can you guys provide patches or something to fix the major issues?
I would have stuck with 4.0 had I known about the development cycle, but a week after I found a link to 4.1 rc3, then the 4.1 final released. I'm having many serious problems with the 4.1 release ... trying to learn Ext 4.1 has been impossible thus far.Donnie Martin - noob cake
