Combobox dropdowns cut off when screen height is shortened
Combobox dropdowns cut off when screen height is shortened
I am unable to access all of the options in a combobox when my screen height (or IFrame height) is shortened to a small enough size. See the attached image of the GXT showcase, when the browser (Firefox) is compressed to a shorter height. You have the same effect when you are in an IFrame (portlets, etc..).
GXT 2 had a setMaxHeight option for ComboBox, which might provide a workaround this problem, but this is missing from GXT 3.

Thanks for bringing this to my attention. I've filed a ticket to have one of the engineers take a look. I'll update this thread with any changes we decide to make.

Has there been any progress on this bug? It's a big problem in our system, which has a GXT form in an vertical-space limited Iframe.

Impacts us as well ..
This is impacting us as we are trying to use an ext js 4.1 combobox in a small browserwindow..
Does anyone know of any workarounds for this ?
Edit: Still no movement on this ?
Should this issue be raised separately for ext js 4.1 as well ?Last edited by somewhereinlondon; 5 Sep 2012 at 4:10 AM. Reason: more detail
