Ext.ux.Coverflow (alpha)
Ext.ux.Coverflow (alpha)
Coverflow is in my opinion one of the coolest UI components originated from Apple.
I ported this jQuery Coverflow widget to ExtJS, and did some tweaking, and the result is the attached. This is my first attempt of doing something like this so any comments / feedback are welcomed.
Tested on ExtJS 4.0.7 on browsers:- Firefox 11
- Chrome
- Internet Explorer 9 (need performance improvement!)
- Graceful degrading for browsers that do not support css transform. In old version of IE, using a Filter to transform is horribly slow. Perhaps some sort of pre-processing and caching will help.
- 3D transformation.
Edit 1: I updated the packages. The previous packages were a bit messed up. The 2 images zip files should be unzipped into Coverflow/resources/img folder. You'll also need to add your own copy of ExtJS into Coverflow/extjs folder.
Edit 2: Added a screenshot of this in action.
