    Hi,

    Strange. I cannot reproduce this effect. I put here the example

    http://www.point-constructor.com/tin...mo/index2.html

    1. Push the button 'Show Form 1', the Window 1 is shown

    2. Push the button 'Show Form 2', the Window 2 is shown. It overlaps the Window 1

    3. I click on the editor in the Window 1. The Window 1 is brought to front, the editor 1 has the caret. I can directly start typing.

    4. I click on the editor in the Window 2. The Window 2 is brought to front, the editor 2 has the caret. I can directly start typing.

    Due to this description, all works correctly.

    What is your result of this test?

    Hi,

    I found out the reason. I have the settings for my window

    focusOnToFront: false,
    toFrontOnShow: false,
    preventFocusOnActivate: true,

    But there is a solution that works also if the

    preventFocusOnActivate: false

    Adjust the TinyMCETextArea.js as follows

    Code:
          ed.onInit.add(function(ed) {
            me.wysiwygIntialized = true;
            me.intializationInProgress = false;

            if(me.isDisabled()) me.disableEditor();

            tinymce.dom.Event.add(ed.getWin(), 'focus', function(e) {
              var w = me.findParentByType('window');
              if(w)
              {
                w.toFront(true);
              }
            });
          });

    New version 2.5

    Fixed bug: when the tiny-field is in a window, it does not go to the front when the field gets focus.

    Can someone help me understand how would I go about adding a custom button to the toolbar? I just need to display the button there and be able to listen for the click event in the controller.

    http://www.tinymce.com/wiki.php/API3...itor.addButton

    Code:
    // Adds a custom button to the editor and when a user clicks the button it will open
    // an alert box with the selected contents as plain text.
    tinyMCE.init({
       ...

       theme_advanced_buttons1 : 'example,..'

       setup : function(ed) {
          // Register example button
          ed.addButton('example', {
             title : 'example.desc',
             image : '../jscripts/tiny_mce/plugins/example/img/example.gif',
             onclick : function() {
                ed.windowManager.alert('Hello world!! Selection: ' + ed.selection.getContent({format : 'text'}));
             }
          });
       }
    });

    New Version 2.6

    Fixed bug in IE10. When the editor is in a Window and a popup like image insert is called, the popup goes behind the window, but should be in the frond of it.

    Default How to update to tinyMCE 4

    How to update to tinyMCE 4

    Compared with tinyMCE 3.*, tinyMCE 4 has a big change. Is there any resource for the integration with tinyMCE 4?

    I looked already at the TinyMCE 4.x. Yes, it is a big change. I will have to do integration from the very beginning. It is completely new product.

    Now, it is beta. I will wait until it is stable and its code is more or less permanent.

    Once I did the integration, but the code of the editor has been changed so dramatically in the next release, that I has to do all new.

    Thanks for your great work. I have set up a test app created using Sencha Cmd to play with it and so far so good. Now I would like to be able to use Sencha Cmd to build the app and wonder what steps need to be taken to resolve the dependencies - eg the tinymce.WindowManager that is extended
    PHP Code:
    Ext.define('Ext.ux.form.TinyMCETextAreaWindowManager', {

    extend'tinymce.WindowManager',
    ...
    etc
    Thanks,
    Murray
