    Default Unanswered: Ext.Animator not working properly

    Unanswered: Ext.Animator not working properly

    I have a graphic that when clicked, it executes an Ext.Animator.run() command. Here's the code:

    Code:
    Ext.Animator.run([	{
    		element: this.getPnlDevice().element,
    		easing: 'ease-in',
    		duration: 200,
    		from: {
    			height: 123
    		},
    		to: {
    			height: 53
    		}
    	},
    	{
    		element: this.getPnlDeviceLeft().element,
    		easing: 'ease-in',
    		duration: 200,
    		from: {
    			height: 99
    		},
    		to: {
    			height: 30
    		}
    	}
    ]);
    So as you can see, two elements collapse to a shorter height. When I first created this using PR4, it worked fine. After upgrading to the 2.0.0 final version, it acts weird. It looks like it starts collapsing, but just jumps back to the original height.

    pnlDevice is an Ext.Panel and it contains another panel (pnlDeviceLeft). pnlDeviceLeft contains a dataview with a few lines of text.

    Is my syntax incorrect? Am I missing something?

    I seemed to have narrowed it down to the dataview. Once data gets populated in the dataview, it does not resize properly. Is this expected behaviour or a bug? In fact it does not resize at all. I try using setHeight() and it will set the height the first time, but doesn't work any time after that.

    further investigation: I replaced the dataview with a panel and a template and it renders the same results. setHeight() will work the first time I resize and every subsequent time, it will not resize. Any help?

    any help with this? It seems like it has nothing to do specifically with Ext.Animator, but rather to do with resizing a panel with content in it
