    Default How to send a listener event to a controller

    How to send a listener event to a controller

    I'm pretty sure I've seen how to do this somewhere in the documentation or forums, but I'm just not getting the correct terminology for a proper search. What I'm trying to do is capture the back button on a navigation bar and get a function within a controller to handle it.

    I've added a Delegate Event Binding to my navigation bar like so:

    Code:
            navigationBar: {
                id: 'navigationBar',
                itemId: 'mynavigationbar',
                ui: 'light'
            },
            listeners: [
                {
                    fn: 'onNavigationviewBack',
                    event: 'back',
                    delegate: '#navigationBar'
                }
            ]
        },

        onNavigationviewBack: function(navigationView, eOpts) {
            // Send an event to controller???
        }
    Thanks for any help.

    I just realized that I don't need to add a delegate, I can use an action on the controller to do the same thing. Which is what I wanted all along.
