Unanswered: Prevent Carousel drag while a Modal Picker is displayed

    Hello,

I'm trying to find a way to disable an item (or prevent a user from swiping/drag) in a carousel when a Picker is being displayed. Here is the scenario:

I have a carousel with two items/views. When a user is in the first view (item 1) they have to select some values from a Picker class with 3 slots. But when the picker pops up the user is still able to swipe into the next view in the carousel (item 2) . But since the picker is supposed to be modal, they shouldn't be able to swipe into the next view in the carousel until the picker goes away. Is there a way to prevent this.

    Thanks.

One quick way is to suspendEvents on the carousel when that picker is displayed and resumeEvents when the picker is hidden.. If it's truly modal, no events should be propagated down to the carousel.
