Unanswered: Problem using GeoLocation on Android.

I'm trying to use the GeoLocation class and it seems to work fine when I run it in Chrome (I get some numbers anyways) but when I try my app with the Android Emulator or my Droid, I get nothing. Checking the console, I keep seeing this error get spit out.

E/geolocationService( 272): Caught security exception registering for location updates from system. This should only happen in DumpRenderTree.

I don't know if this is a permission problem, but if it is, how do you set Android permission with Sencha Touch?

    Thanks,
    Dave.

    Hi Dave,
I also have not been able to get Geolocation to work with a packaged android app.

Please let me know if you've made progress.

Has anyone seen a successful call of Ext.device.Geolocation.getCurrentPosition(....) on Android?

I can't overstate the importance of this functionality being available in the framework we commit to.
    Thanks,
    Lew.

No, I've still not received a response to this from anyone, other than yourself.

Anyone able to help with this or do we file this under the "Long Lost Functionality" folder?
