    Default Grid within Grid Cell

    Grid within Grid Cell

    Hi there,

Is it possible to create a grid within a grid cell, as follows:

    ------------------------------------------------------------------
    | Store Name | Country | Stock | Quantity |
    ------------------------------------------------------------------
    | Store 1 | Asia | Goose | 3 |
    | | |--------------|------------|
    | | | Chicken | 4 |
    | | |--------------|------------|
    | | | Duck | 5 |
    |------------------------------------------------------------------|
    | Store 2 | Europe | Goose | 5 |
    | | |--------------|------------|
    | | | Chicken | 3 |
    | | |--------------|------------|
    | | | Duck | 2 |
    |------------------------------------------------------------------|

    Have you tried using Xtemplate:

    Example use:

Sorry for my first post where my space for trimmed. But I am looking for a structured grid similar to the following:

    Example1.jpg

I need it to be a grid so that I can do sorting and filtering on the columns. Also as I have other pages using grid, therefore would prefer to stick to a grid for more consistency.

Thanks scottmartin, for the reply, but am not sure if xtemplate will be able to fulfil my above requirements. If you strongly believe that xtemplate is the solution that I need, could you kindly provide more explanation. As I am new to extjs, any comment will be of great help. Thanks.

Perhaps the pivot grid can provided the options you need:
    http://dev.sencha.com/deploy/ext-3.4...id/simple.html
    http://dev.sencha.com/deploy/ext-3.4...ples/#sample-3 (other examples of pivot)

    Regards,
    Scott.
