Default Answered: EJB3 + ExtGWT + Netbeans IDE

    Answered: EJB3 + ExtGWT + Netbeans IDE

    Hello Everybody,
I am new to GWT (ExtGWT) and planning to build a project with ExtGWT, EJB3 and Netbeans IDE. Can you please help to to provide me some helpful link or reference how to handle EJB3 with ExtGWT. I have the idea about EJB3 and I already build some projects with EJB3 but though I am new to ExtGWT that why I need to know how and what is the approach to build a large scale application with EJB3 + ExtGWT where I prefer to use Netbeans IDE as a Development tool.

It will be very helpful for me if anyone give me the idea or provide me any link or reference or any advice about large scale application(Enterprise Application) development process with EJB3 + ExtGWT where the IED is Netbeans.

    Regards,
    Tanvir

  2. I am using GXT3 with JPA and have a very simple example https://github.com/poseidonjm/basic-crud

I think for large escale application with GWT use MVP (Model-View-Presenter)
If you work with many classes I recommend to you use a Injection Dependency Framework
    I use Guice3 http://code.google.com/p/google-guice/ and for MVP I use GWTPlatform http://code.google.com/p/gwt-platform/
GWTPlatform use GIN. GIN is like Guice for GWT. http://code.google.com/p/google-gin/

    Dear Friend,

can you please help me to give me any idea about how I can create a DB driven TREE MENU and which will call FORM.

I have create a TREE MENU but that is hard coded not DB driven and I have introduce some click evens for every MENU to call FORM.

But I need to know how I can create a TREE MENU Dynamically and what is the technique to handle CLICK EVENT to call any FORM which also dynamically.

Please help me to give me some IDEA.

In my experience I found easy to filter a tree menu with local store. But difficult to filter an async menu. What I did was fill a list with a request and then assign this list to my local store. Once the tree is local is easy to filter.

My object menu has a property that identifies the program.

Events in a TreePanel you can use SelectionHandler
