    Question Read-only component with scrollbar to output HTML

    Read-only component with scrollbar to output HTML

    Hi all!

    I wonder if there is any suitable component in Ext that could be an HTML container with vertical scrollbar. Textarea is not a good candidate because it does not support HTML markup and when made read-only (disabled) displays its content in grayed color, which is not readable.
    Ext.Panel seems to be better but I could not find the way to insert HTML code into the panel and when tried classic document.getElementById("extComponentId").innerHTML overflow stopped working and I could not make scrollbar visible.
    Any ideas on what else could be used?

    Ext.Panel permits styling of each embedded element (ie body, header, etc.). In your case, the body would be the likely target for your content:

    Code:
    var p = new Ext.Panel({
       bodyStyle:{overflow:'auto'},
       contentEl:'markupDiv',

       or

       html:markup,
      .......
    });
    "be dom-ready..."
