    Default setAdjustForScroll issue with HorizontalLayoutContainer

    setAdjustForScroll issue with HorizontalLayoutContainer

    Calling setAdjustForScroll(true) on a HorizontalLayoutContainer seemed to have no effect in my app. I dug into the code and found that this is because the scrollbar adjustment is only being made on the _width_ of the container. But the common use case of a HorizontalLC is to expect horizontal scrolling, which means the adjustment should be applied to the _height_ of the container. Or even better, use the ScrollMode parameter to decide which side to reserve space for (or both).

    This is on line 229 of HorizontalLayoutContainer.java. I'm using RC, so maybe this is already fixed in the Release, but I didn't see anything in the forums about it.

    hmm, both HLC and VLC are adjusted for width
    int w = size.getWidth() - (adjustForScroll ? XDOM.getScrollBarWidth() : 0);
    that is strange
