    Default Answered: Nestedlist set root with multiple detailcards

    Answered: Nestedlist set root with multiple detailcards

    Whats an easy and nice solution to go back to the root folder of a nestedlist?
    The nestedlist contains a card layout for its multiple detailcards.
    Code:
    Ext.getCmp("idCategorytreeNestedlist").goToNode(Ext.StoreMgr.get('Categorytree').getRoot());
    This works only if there is no detailcard activated.
    To do a hard coded back butten event doesnt do the job either:
    Code:
    Ext.getCmp("idCategorytreeNestedlist").onBackTap()
    How could that nestedlist be "reseted" to its root folder?

    Thanks for any hints or tips...

  2. Added a button to the nestedlist example's source panel and this worked:

    Code:
    var nestedlist = button.up('nestedlist'),
        store      = nestedlist.getStore(),
        node       = store.getRoot();

    nestedlist.goToNode(node);

    hey, thanks for the reply.
    unfortunately this didnt work in my case. i got three different detailcards which have their own logic and are shown thru a card layout

    this ugly workaround did the trick for now:
    Code:
    var stockNestedList = Ext.getCmp("idCategorytreeNestedlist");
                        stockNestedList.onBackTap();
                        stockNestedList.onBackTap();
                        stockNestedList.goToNode(Ext.StoreMgr.get('Categorytree').getRoot());
                        stockNestedList.onBackTap();
                        stockNestedList.onBackTap();
    this ticket can be closed, no need to invest more of that precious time into this
