How to build sencha touch 2 app for Blackberry??

Hi,

Using sencha touch 2, we can build app for android and ios. Is it supporting blackberry also. Can i generate a cod file using sencha touch 2 packaging?? I don't want to use phone gap. If it is supporting, then from which os version it is supporting for blackberry??

Hi,

We have also used sencha command tool to build for native packaging.Currently it supports only for Android, iOS only.

How to go for Blackberry native build with sencha command.

But in Sencha site , they have mentioned support for blackberry devices in features(Sencha ) page.

Note: Please don't say to use phonegap instead. Because we have used phonegap(1.2.0) for native packaging with sencha 1.1 version .It worked very well with some orientation issues.

But now, Sencha has introduced Command tool to build native package for android and iOS .So i would prefer to go for Sencha command.

Hi,

Sencha has not yet provided any document for native packaging with blackberry.

But phonegap is a very mature product and you can use phonegap as a cross platform tool for native packaging.

Finally , it depends upon your project requirement(ie :time frame ,urgent release) then you would go for phonegap for native packaging.

Note: I would not suggest you to deploy the application in blackberry with phonegap if you have the long time to project release. But we have succeeded to deploy the application for blackaberry with phone build.

Do you have any answers for this topic from the Sencha touch guys. I have a Blackberry Playbook running BBOS 2.0 I would like to the procedure to build my sencha touch application for Blackberry

No..till now i did not get any clarification..may b only solution is phonegap..
