SDK Tools install error
SDK Tools install error
I am trying to install the tools from this .exe file:
SenchaSDKTools-2.0.0-beta3-windows.exe
But when I run it I get this error:
The installer could not find a valid Java (tm) on this machine.
Can some one help me solve this error?
Thanks

same error on Ubuntu
same error on Ubuntu
I'm having same error on Ubuntu 12.04 i386 distro despite I installed Java(added JAVA_HOME to the path) and have been using many Java-based apps like Eclipse, soapUI, etc.
I'll be happy if someone can help me.
Thanks in advance.

Have the same problem on my minimac! Why would sencha's installer report this when there is java installed (java is installed on every mac!)
*edit: maybe not despite what the sun microsystems website says! for mac users, open up a terminal and type java, hit enter. It will take care of things for you from there.
