Default Will there be a SenchaCon 2012?

Will there be a SenchaCon 2012?

    Hi -

I've been to SenchaCon in 2010 and 2011, and really enjoyed both and learned a lot of solid information. Does anyone know if there are any plans to hold a 2012 Sencha conference? I remember the details about SenchaCon 2011 came out around this time of year, so I thought I'd ask.

    Thanks!

Our Meet-up group was asking the same question on Wednesday! How about it, Sencha?

We're planning the next SenchaCON as we speak and should have date and location nailed down in the next two weeks. Look out for a "Save the Date" blog post.

I don't think there will be one, but there has not been a definitive public announcement from Sencha.

    Well that sucks.

They should have some sort of alternative "online" conference if they aren't going to have an IRL one.
Conferences are an important way to build community around a platform.

Should we be worried about the platform in general?

At the very least I need to know one way or the other, sooner rather than later.

I have suits to hit up for money if I'm going to be there... PLEASE don't pull an Apple on us.

    Thanks Jay

I only get one conference per year and my choice the past two was Sencha. Now I can put in my request for something else. If they're not going to have a conference they should just say so and move on.
