Field Container over Panel? use and why...

Hi All,

I have a set of combobox, Text fields and Radio fields within a panel. I cannot use Fieldset here as its too complex mixture of all components (this was the requirement ).
I have a outer panel and have many fieldcontainers inside.

I need a little insight of why not to use Panel with Items. and use Fieldcontainers with items.??

i know that Panels are little heavy and Containers are lighter for the performance.
Please provide some more information for the above reason,

Hi!

Containers provides a suite of utilities, which includes add, insert, and remove methods. These methods areused by most of the subclasses, including Panel, Viewport, and Window.

while Panel is a direct descendant of Container, which includes a vast variety of features like title bar, tools section.

so it is obvious panel is much more complex than a simple container in terms of performance.
