Default Text input box on Samsung Galaxy SIII

Text input box on Samsung Galaxy SIII

When accessing text (and number) input boxes on the Samsung Galaxy SIII, a default white box with an orange border appears.

This is highly annoying, as sometimes it seems to appear in the wrong place even though you're typing in the correct box, and if you change views with the box present, it stays in place until the animation's finished.

    It's ghastly.

Here's a screenshot of it on the KitchenSink:

Any advice on how to style (or tag) an input field to prevent this overlay box from appearing?

    Thanks.

Should I write this up as a formatted bug report?
