Unanswered: Video Player in Ext Application

    Hey all,

I did some poking around and it doesn't look like ExtJS has any native video components. I am assuming I can use another html5 video player within my application. My hope is to embed the video player within an ExtJS panel. I am assuming this is possible? If so, what is the best method for getting this to work?

Would it be something like taking the element from the DOM and setting it as a child of one of my Extjs components?

    Thanks!

Here is an old version of UX.media:

In speaking with Doug, he is deciding whether is is going to pursue a version for Ext4.
The issue is that since flash/flex is in the bin, that it may not be worth the effort.

It all depends on the format(s) you want to support and which browser you decide to support and the plugins they support. A bit of a tangled web.

I would be curious on what you decide on.
