Default Unanswered: Migration to extjs 4 from extjs 2

Unanswered: Migration to extjs 4 from extjs 2

    Hi All,

I have a problem with migrating the existing extjs 2 or 3 to extjs 4. Could some one help me out in this.

We have used extjs 4 and trying to convert my code into it.
But, none of the extjs 2 controls are loading while converting. Except the aspx master page.

Need someone to help us in this regard ASAP.

    Thanks,
    Suresh.

ExtJS 2.x to 4.x is not an upgrade, it's basically a re-write. You will need to prototype each piece of your app to see how the framework has changed (which is heaps).

    Work Ahead my dear

You have to completely recreate the application from extjs2.You have to learn extjs 4 before doing the migration as ext4 is completely different from Ext2.There is no way to simply migrate from ext2.All the Best.....
