    basic confusion about xtype, alias, classname


    I am trying to set up my first panel with a layout, and I want to use an Ext.form.Panel.

    Putting that into xtype: does not work. Do I use something other than xtype (e.g. class)?

    Think of xtype as a 'shorthand' name for a class.

    They are visible on the Header of every class in the online documentation:

    xtypes.png
