Yellow rows show premium forum results. When we open to public we need a way to show a result that is in a premium forum as they won't be able to see the actual thread but they should know the result is there

Couple of bugs/quirks:
Search for:
"-webkit-mask-size"
(make sure you use the quotes)
The results show as "C", "T", etc. The full titles of the threads are getting truncated for some reason.
Also, when I do that search, it clears out the search box on the results page and only has the default text "Sencha Search" in there. Normally this doesn't happen with other searches.

That's odd. Least it seems to do the search right. Will have to see why it's truncating the title. Thanks!

Any plan on getting the "Search Forum" dropdown that you get when you're in a forum to search JUST that forum? Right now it searches everywhere. Also, the Advanced Search link there still takes you to the old search. This seems really unfinished.

I'm not 100% clear on how that'll wind up looking for the end-user, but let me give you my thoughts on using it for a while. It's a bit tedious to have to go remove the groups in your filter and add another when you switch from wanting to search, say the Sencha Touch 2.0 forum and decide to search for something different in the 1.x forum (or sub-forum, like just Charts as I did a minute ago). And then back again. I'd REALLY like to see the "Search this forum" work (using the new search as a backend) by automatically making the forum to search the one you're in (as you'd expect).
Also, a "clear" button on the search conditions page and another one on the forums page on the search screen.

I definitely want to have a search drop down like the vBulletin search has to only search that forum. Just have a few things in my way that I have to get done first. I will disable the vBulletin search so that it doesn't confuse anyone and they attempt to use it thinking it uses the new search.

The more I've been using the search the more I've been feeling it's even worse than what we had before.
First off, there seems to be no way in the UI popup to specify something as a term in the BODY of the message. There is only title/from/to/author. I'm not sure how that could possibly have gotten overlooked.
Second, when I just try typing in the search term:
line chart title:highlight
it finds results that do no have highlight in the title. What is going on? Is searching in the body totally unsupported and just causes the whole thing to collapse?
I feel like it's time to go back to using google for searching. Shame, considering how much time you spent on working on this and how much time the users spent trying to give you good faith feedback.

IMO I think it's premature to give up. Having test cases to reproduce issues is great like the line chart title:highlight may just be a simple tweak in the underlying SQL to fix, something we will look into. We are aware of needing a body condition like the others is needed.
