Default Unanswered: How can I Prevent web app from reloading every time link is pressed

Unanswered: How can I Prevent web app from reloading every time link is pressed

I have a web app, and placed a link to it on the iphone desktop.
Everytime I press the icon it starts the web app.
But how can I prevent it from reloading the page if page is already loaded?

In my case when pressing the icon the app page is opened and shows the view where I last left the app, but it reloads the page emediatly wich is just time consuming as all code already is in the displayed page.

This has already been discussed: http://www.sencha.com/forum/showthread.php?140520-iPad-Home-Screen-App-refreshes-on-every-open

I believe this is an answer, but I haven't tried it.

I tried the offline, witch caching, but the did not work in iPhone
Its a bit anoying, as web apps, are a very nice way to provide apps, as it do not require packaging and distribution via appstore

I just use web apps and deal with it not being on the homescreen. I will keep looking for a way, though.

look for 'apple-mobile-web-app-capable' in sdk code, and comment this lines.
within this comment, the app is launched in Safari and keep the last state.

If you don't want comment SDK code, you can use this method :
