    Default Scrolling problem with Ext.Editor

    Scrolling problem with Ext.Editor

    Hi,

I am using ExtJS 3.2 and new to extjs. I am adding Editors dynamicly into my dataview on mouse click on individual fields. This is showing the editor nicely and allowing me to edit the values. But when I scroll the page this active editor field does not scroll with the page. e.g. If I scroll the page up the editor does not scroll up along with its label and remains as it is. Can anyone please help me understand why this is happening?

    thanks,
    astronil

You need to ensure that your editor is rendered within the 'moving' component and not just to the document body. The editor needs to be a child of the container having the element you are aligning the editor to. You can accomplish this by placing the editor in the same container as your dataview, or by using the renderTo property with the id of the dataview.
