    Unanswered: Mobile App

I am new to Sencha Touch and I wonder if the mobile app written in Sencha Touch must reside within a browser? Can the mobile app be a "stand alone" one and is launched by just clicking an Icon?

    Thanks.

You can use Sencha Command to build native apps with a developer license. You'd have to submit them to the app store if you don't want it to reside within a browser.

It could be pseudo-standalone if you have it in a browser and add it to the homescreen as well.
Check out this guide if you haven't yet: http://docs.sencha.com/touch/2-0/#!/...etting_started
